Rocket ROOMS Velden

I was a bit skeptical of this place because of the funny name but I was pleasantly surprised and glad to be wrong! The room was clean, comfortable and well sized, the service was good, and the breakfast was BOMB! Location is also good although Velden is quite small so it’s hard to have a bad location per se. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone visiting Velden.

The place is perfectly located, the Staff was mostly friendly and the breakfast good. The room was terrible (deluxe double room). The noise insulation is pretty much not given at all. You can hear every step outside and people whispering. The Air circulation system and the toilet ventilation were also inappropriate loud. Restaurant was way overpriced and not worth the money, would recommend to get your dinner somewhere else.

I have very mixed feelings about my stay. To start off, the location is absolutely perfect. It is in the heart of Velden. Shops, bank, cafes, casino, and the lake are all few meters away and you get a Beach Card to enjoy your time! Staff are absolutely amazing, very friendly, polite, and helpful. Now with why only a 3 stars review.”a laidback hotel” well, it’s more of a hostel, a youth hostel and is not really up to the lake standards. The rooms are small, the vending machine doesn’t take cards, and everything feels like a hostel. The rooms are relatively small, the bathroom is equally as small and lacking amenities. There were two hairdryers, none of them worked. 2 of the wall outlets didn’t work either. The breakfast buffet is simply average or even a little bit below average. The options were limited, the cake was like eating a drywall, the ham was dried out as if it was few days old. That was surprising since the restaurant is great, the food was delicious, and service was great. So all in all, if want a good location without any “luxuries”, and a not bad price, go for it!

good location, the room was nice, buffet great but the unique problem was with 2 men of the personal : "the buffet's organizer" was too annoying but the worst was the receptionist because he was everytime unpolite , cold and unfriendly ! p.s. keep attention for the check-out to dont take the grocery bag in your room because cost 18 euro... i thought was a joke ! :'D
